This started as a way to stop the "where should we meet?" argument when friends were coming from different parts of London. You know the one – someone suggests their local pub, someone else complains it's too far, and you end up spending 20 minutes on group chat before giving up and meeting at Leicester Square again.
Fair Meet LDN finds meeting points where nobody has to travel significantly longer than anyone else. It uses TfL's journey planner to calculate actual travel times (not just distance), considers your preferences for changes and maximum journey time, and suggests stations that work for everyone. Once you've found a fair meeting point, it can also help you find nearby pubs, bars, restaurants, and cafes so you actually have somewhere to go. No more guilt trips about who's travelling furthest.
We also know that "fair" doesn't always mean "best". Sometimes you're happy to travel 10 minutes longer if it means meeting near a beautiful park instead of a concrete junction. That's why we added Smart Purpose Matching. Tell us if you're meeting for drinks, food, or a walk, and we'll factor that in—finding spots that are famous for what you want to do, while keeping the journey times as balanced as possible.
Built by George, a Londoner who got tired of being "that friend" who always suggests meeting near their flat.
